Jack O'Mine Hamster Analysis

The first thing we need to do is look at his stats. He comes with a pretty solid base, as you can see on our Jack O'Mine hamster page and in our header image above.

While these are his base stats, they grow by 49 total points as he levels up, bringing him to a total of 269 points by the level cap of 50. While his health being low may be scary at first, it's important to understand that hamsters went through a major overhaul not too long ago that made it to where expedition success is based on overall hamster stats instead of specific ones. You can read more about that in our guide on how RollerCoin hamster stats work if you haven't already. With that said, where does a total of 269 points put Jack O'Mine vs. other options?

The above chart is extremely important because if you were just looking at hamster stats in general, he would be rank number two overall, just below Uncle'Azoth. But when you factor in passive skills (note that the above is without active skills, set bonuses, or anything else, just passives) he drops all the way down to rank 8 with a survival that is just barely above 70% across the board. In other words, even on the easier expeditions you should expect him to be dying about 3/10 times. In the earlier levels it's much worse, with his average success rating being just above the 50% range. 

This hamster comes with a few different abilities and an Ultimate.

As for the ultimate, we've seen something similar to this one with Lady Minerra, with multiple levels where you pick when to use the ability. The skill Jack O'Mine has is about extra loot with the following tiers and bonuses:

There's clearly a lot more value in the 75% bonus than the earlier ones, but you also have to balance his somewhat low survival rate with that. I'd personally always go with Tier 3 because it has the best chance of hitting the higher items, but if you want to minimize risk while you have the ability active you can go with the shorter one (meaning you get more runs with it up).

This hamster launched on October 23, 2026 at a cost of $119 along with a lootbox that costs $5.99 and is guaranteed to have one within 80 pulls (about $480). It's clear that going with the direct buy is the better method if you don't want the risk of lootboxes here.

As for his value, I would argue that the set bonuses aren't worth it, nor is he in general. Honestly, even the CusCuz hamster that was on sale on October 9th was better, and he was only $80 when he came out. I'd price Jack O'Mine closer to $65-70, though. The set bonus isn't anything to write home about (up to +25% influencer bonuses), making that a moot point.
