Preparing for RollerRadio

RollerRadio is a weekly community stream on Discord, and usually Twitch. It recurs weekly and usually runs for a few hours. Giveaways during it typically cover the latest hamsters, powerful miners, and other items.

RollerRadio runs most Fridays and usually starts at 10 AM Central — 11 AM Eastern, 9 AM Mountain, 8 AM Pacific — and runs for a few hours. Those are region names rather than clock offsets on purpose, so they stay right whichever way daylight saving is running. If you are planning around it, do confirm in the official Discord.

How to Join

Head to the official RollerCoin Discord and get verified. When RollerRadio is close, enter through the channel list in the sidebar. Once it starts you will typically see:

  • A link to an X post they want the community to upvote
  • A running list of what the community wants from that week's giveaway
  • A giveaway document, usually covering RollerCoin hamsters, miners, and other items

You need two things, and you need both. First, adopt the RollerCoin server tag — click the channel information at the top of your RollerCoin Discord window and look for "RC Server Tag". Second, be present when your name is called. The hosts go down the list, and missing either the tag or the call will result in losing your reward (and getting another point on our leaderboard for afk/tagless winners).

What the Giveaways Are Worth

One of the most important things here is that knowing how much any giveaway will be worth is impossible. They do work hard to source options from players to help form a nice list of rewards, and one week they may be mostly RLT-based miners while the next they could be expensive hamsters or other things. So even if the week you happened to watch resulted in rewards you found "meh," you could very well find yourself surprised the next week! With that said, they generally do go on the higher end towards the later (and higher requirement) drawings.

RollerRadio Winners

We track who wins and what they get (along with who misses out), so you can look up a past episode or search for a user anytime! See RollerRadio winners for the full record, which is updated every Friday as soon as possible after the event closes.
